Serving as a senior executive, with a one of a kind blend of abilities in personal branding and coaching, Paul has built his successful career in the healthcare industry. He brings an abundance of learning experience around adapting organizations to change, through developmental growth and restructuring. Paul is a Leadership Coaching Specialist (LCS) and is energetic about utilizing his proficient consulting skills in helping our clients find their own particular path to greatness.
Paul’s expertise transfers seamlessly into his role with Xcellero in developing people and organizations as an external consultant. He strives to make each of his clients a better version of themselves, by exceeding their expectations and by delivering demonstrable results. Priding himself on helping his clients assess their own leadership platform with a greater degree of curiosity and honesty, resulting in a greater degree of insight, confidence, and inspiration.
Paul most recently served for three years as the Chief Human Resources Officer at a large Chicago area health care system, overseeing all HR strategies and operations for the system. Prior to that, Paul served for fifteen years in the roles of Senior Vice President and Vice President of Human Resources at another Chicago area faith-based health care system. He began his Human Resources career at a Chicago academic medical center, serving in a variety of HR management roles.
Paul began his drive for excellence as a youth when he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and continues today as a lifetime member of the National Eagle Scouts of America. This served him well throughout his career, where he is recognized as a results-oriented leader who delivers superior work products.
In addition to his organizational development expertise, Paul also has extensive experience in the organizational governance arena. He has served on the Boards of Directors at Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center, Holy Family Medical Center, Presence Life Connections, the Arthur Merkle and Clara Knipprath Nursing Home, the Nazarethville Home for Aging Seniors, and as staff to various Board committees in organizations he served as the HR leader. For the past ten years Paul has served as a member of the Advisory Board at the North Park University School of Business and Non-Profit Management.
Paul received his Master’s degree in Business Administration, graduating with High Honors and as a Hotchkiss Scholar, from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Paul’s Bachelor’s degree is from Northern Illinois University.
